Girls. In the museum you will find a permanent historical and folklore exhibition with various objects, relics, photographs, paintings, etc. that show the history and the locals' way of living. Most of the exhibits are authentic, original and give you the opportunity to get to know some of the elements of economic and cultural development in the wider area –focusing on the way of life and reintegration of the Egyptians in the region– from the beginning of the 19th century up to the middle of the 20th century. There are various rooms in the museum, such as the one dedicated to the Egyptians, to education, to the private life of Portaria residents, to Theoxenia hotel and to S. Porfyris.
