Found along a trail of churches, the Presidio Chapel of San Elizario is one of the remnants of the Spanish missions.

The mission trail consists of three Missions. A good idea is to start at the San Elizario Presidio Chapel around 10:00 a.m. next would be the Socorro Mission and to finish Ysleta Mission. Most should be by 10 a.m. and are closed Monday and Tuesday.
