AS220 is a non-profit community arts center that maintains four dozen artist live/work studios, around a dozen individual work studios, six rotating exhibition spaces, a main stage, a black box theater, a dance studio, a print shop, a community darkroom, a digital media lab, a fabrication lab, an organization-run bar and restaurant, a youth recording studio, and a youth program. You can count on some sort of exhibit or performance that is going on when visiting Providence.

A community centered arts organization in the heart of Down City where there’s something for everyone. Go see some art, hear a local youth group, or have a bite to eat. It’s a local institution that welcomes all.

one of the absolute best things you can do is check this place out. art, music, poetry, celtic music jams on sundays, good bar and food. This organization funds housing for artists too. go here!

On Saturdays, traditional Irish music on fiddles and flutes, guitars and concertinas at AS220 FOO(d), the restaurant run by the nonprofit AS220, which transformed the Downcity neighborhood with art.
