This beach is just down the street from my Ronald house. You drive your car onto the sand to park. Beautiful view!

June when the water is high, it's more of a beautiful lake to check out. The rest of the summer months you can drive your vehicle right up onto the sand and it feels like an actual beach with little waves that wash up - and its actual sand for the kids. If you don't want to drive up, park and walk. Depending on the month and the level of the water, it can be fun to explore the shore and also jump into the water. Bring tubes, boards, chairs and food/drinks to enjoy the whole day on the water. It can get windy but its really a great family spot as well as a place for everyone to enjoy.

Great place to go year round. Great in the summer for swimming, people watching and enjoying the beautiful scenery. In the winter still great for playing in the snow!
