If rocky beaches are you thing and you have a car I highly recommend this place. There are no restaurants so best to get some water and some snacks if you plan to stay for long.

Around 20 minutes on foot away from St Peter's Pool, one can find il-Kalanka Bay. It is larger than St. Peter's Pool and sometimes less frequented by tourists. Before going down to Kalanka Bay, walk for another 5 minutes and stop to explore the 19th century lighthouse of Delimara. There is also as adjacent British Fort. The place is good point to view Marsaxlokk Bay, including Birzebbuga.

This is a hidden gem, only go if you like to walk and like some adventure. Ideally go during the day and don't go late in the eve when it's get dark. as it's quite deserted. take a good walking shoes , water and food as there are no shops to buy from.
