this is a Sicilian Gelateria, they have weird quality of Ice Cream, like chestnut , nuts and salt, prickly pear cactus, etc... there are many ice-cream shop in Lucca where you can taste traditional ice cream, all very good. but this one in my opinion is something different, and i prefer to suggest something more refined.

One of the three best ice-creams you'll try in your life. Period. Made only with seasonal and local ingredients and lots of love. Get an ice cream and do what locals do on summer nights: cross the street, climb and sit on the "spalletta" (the small wall that runs along the Arno side), enjoy your ice-cream and do some people-watching
