This is a small ski resort that caters to families and learning adults. There are never lines at the lifts and the lift tickets and rentals are very inexpensive. Only 40 min. from our cabin!

This ski resort is the closest to our property. It is good for beginner and families. 10,000' elevation and beautiful mountains.

This is a great skiing spot for day trips at a very reasonable (relative to Colorado ski resorts) rate. Very easy to get to and really good for beginners. The best month to go is February.

A small ski resort about 30 minutes away. They also have a cafe that operates in the summer: The Riverside Cafe. A lovely setting for lunch with a full bar and tables outside by the river. The menu is mainly bar food: burgers, sandwiches, and burritos.
