Voted by locals as Canberra's best fish and chippery, Snapper offers fresh fish and chips along with tranquil lake views and a relaxed family atmosphere. Open 11am to 8pm but earlier at weekends.

Great Fish and Chips on the lake, take a picnic rug and enjoy the view of Black Mountain Tower over the lake.

Out the front of here is a great place for a picnic by the lake! I highly recommend Snapper & Co for takeaway fish and chips by the lake! Alternatively, it’s a nice place to bring your own picnic and watch the swans.
