Short walk across a field from the public car park. Fantastic views across the Towy Valley. If open the 1st floor is accessed by a spiral staircase

Paxton's Tower is a Neo-Gothic folly that can be seen for miles from many areas situated on a hilltop near Llanarthney in the Towy Valley. It was built sometime between 1805 and 1808 and erected in honour of Lord Nelson and probably to a design by Samuel Pepys Cockerell.

A great spot to take in the view of the valley and perfectly situated near Wrights Food Emporium for a pit stop. You can see the tower from the accommodation which is sometimes lit up at night (10mins away)

Perched on a hill above the village of Llanarthne, Paxton’s Tower looks out on the Towy Valley. Built over 200 years ago, the majestic tower is in fact a folly designed to commemorate Nelson and impress the people of the valley.
