This museum has several pieces of medieval arts, is not commonly known among tourist but it really worths a visit.

Once a monastery built between the year 1000 and 1100 on the river bank today it shelters the most complete collection of medieval sculptures and paintings from Pisa with some oeuvres from other parts of Tuscany as well.

It is a must see for all the medieval fine art lovers. It is full of ancient masterpieces: Nicola Pisano, Giunta Pisano, Berlinghiero, Simone Martini, Masaccio, Donatello. The tickets are cheap: 5€, reduced 2,50€
