Wild Wild West town! A fun downtown area in a square like the old-timey times. Fun shopping and bars and restaurants and a fun day trip. Tons of hiking, swimming and kayaking on lakes in this area as well.

Prescott is about an hour from our location. Downtown, historic Whiskey Row is known for its bars and live music venues. The Sharlot Hall Museum documents the region’s pioneer-era history. The Smoki Museum exhibits artifacts from indigenous peoples of the Southwest. To the northeast, Watson Lake is home to hundreds of bird species, and a circuit of trails runs among the granite boulders dotting its shore. ― Google My favorite thing is to visit the historic downtown/courthouse plaza. It has many dog-friendly restaurants nearby.

Downtown has plenty of restaurants, frequent events, and is an incredible place to go for a walk around the square. Recommended Restaurants: The Raven, Plaza Liquor Deli, Prescott Brewing Company, Gurley Street Grill, The Palace, Prescott Station, Rosa's, El Gato Azul, and Bill's Grill

Prescott Arizona is an artsy cowboy type of home town that is a two hour drive from Mesa. This is a really fun day trip to the city know for the worlds oldest rodeo, famous Whisky Row, arts, crafts, entertainment, music & great restaurants. It is a laid back old time feeling with friendly wonderful people who love their town, town square, lakes, parks, hiking, great weather, change of seasons. They are know for their wild 4th of July weekends with kiddie parades, town parades, art shows, street dancing, music festivals. This town is filled with 'art, music, dancing, great food and a laid back atmosphere. My fav Mexican restaurant is Taco Don's!
