Parthenonas ('Parthenopolis' in ancient times) has no relation to the famous monument in Athens. However, it abosilutely worths a visit! It is a traditional settlement with listed buildings, great taverns and breath-taking views! An ideal time for visit would be during dusk as you will witness the ridiculously picturesque sunset. 'Paul's Tavern' is a good option should you be feeling hungry.
