At very low tide, the water is shallow enough to walk out to Indian Island from the beach across the street from the Outlook Inn. Great tide-pooling. Starfish and sub-tidal creatures of all colors cling to the perimeter of the island. In the summertime, there is often a naturalist docent on the island. Just return before the tide comes in!
