For our visitors arriving by air & taking the train to Mandelieu, we recommend taking bus #99 from Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) to the Nice-Ville train station, often referred to as Nice Gare, or Nice SNCF station, in the center of Nice city. This airport express bus 99 connects both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 with the Nice Villa Train station twice per hour in 15 minutes. Bus 99 stops directly at the terminal and train station making it a good solution when traveling with luggage or at odd hours. Bus 99 requires an Aéro Ticket (€6) available at the kiosk where the buses are waiting. When the tram is finally in place & operational, that will be the new best method, but as of this writing, September 2019, it's not ready yet! We'll keep you posted!
