Gas station/convenience store/cafe, 1.5 miles from Mel's Place near the corner of Indian Head rd and Hwy. 118. Public restrooms. It's not unusual that they run out of gas during busy times or bad weather. Top off your tank at every chance here. There are 2 gas stations in the national park and 1 gas station in LaJitas, 15 miles west on hwy 170, towards Big Bend Ranch State Park. They usually have To Go breakfast burritos at the register. Cafe is pretty good! They often have good daily specials. Zero ambiance. Open early for breakfast. Lunch and dinner hours vary seasonally.
