Chinhoyi Caves, Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe The Chinhoyi Caves are a group of limestone and dolomite caves in north central Zimbabwe. They are located about 9 kilometres northwest of the town of Chinhoyi, 120 kilometres from the capital city of Harare. Visitors can access the caves every day of the week and the cost is US$20 for international visitors. How to Get There •By Road International travellers with a valid Driver’s Licence can hire a car (Hertz, Avis, Europcar) for road travel to Chinhoyi (approximately 2 hours from Harare). Driving is not recommended at night.

Be sure to carry a water bottle with you and keep your phone handy to use as a torch/flashlight. If you have the time why not pack a picnic to have in the park after you’ve explored the caves.
