A popular tourist attraction in North Vancouver. The current bridge is 140 metres long and 70 metres above the river. The Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge is narrower and lower, but provides a similar experience without a fee.

Top first time in Vancouver to-do-list! But it is pricey. There is a small parking lot which is paid and can fill up quickly. There is a free shuttle from Canada place every 10 min. If you take the day pass (called the compass ticket) on the public transport service you can use the public…

Capilano suspension bridge park has the world’s largest private collection of totem poles. The park is also one of the most popular tourist attractions in greater Vancouver area. The admission fee is s bit pricy, but people normally spend time in the park at average of 2-4 hours. How to get there?…

“Ride bikes around Stanley park (counter clockwise only) and if the weather is nice stop at Third Beach for a late afternoon swim. Used to be the best concession in the park - perhaps still is? grilled onions on your veggie/hotdogs?”

“Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhood, Gastown grew from a single tavern founded by John ‘Gassy Jack’ Deighton back in 1867. Today, the district retains its historic charm and independent spirit. Victorian architecture houses a thriving fashion scene, impeccably curated décor boutiques, one-of-a-kind galleries and some of the best culinary fare in Vancouver. It’s a gathering place for stylish locals and an ideal neighbourhood to explore on foot. Gastown is a neighbourhood that seamlessly combines old with new, history with the way forward. An essential part of Vancouver’s history, a visit to Gastown should include a stroll along Water Street, where you’ll find a picture-perfect collection of old buildings, cobblestones, the Steam Clock, and vintage lampposts. Continue to the end of Water Street to visit a statue of the man who started it all, Gassy Jack Deighton. Architecture and history buffs can take organized walking tours of the area to further explore. Get a bird’s eye view of the area from the Vancouver Lookout, which rises 167-metres (548-feet) to give visitors a 360˚ panorama of the city.”
