Great way to see some old Alaska Frontier. Talkeetna is 100 miles from Denali Park and on clear days has fantastic views of the Mountain. The town is old Alaska with lots of hospitality. The jet boat rides are on a wild river that has not been changed with dams and development. A short train is also available there. This is a great day trip as it is 2 hours from the cabin. Great salmon runs can occur for all salmon.

The trip to Devils Canyon is an amazing expedition! The amount of water roaring through the canyon is unbelievable, the scenery on the way is dramatic, and Mahay's personable and knowledgeable guides make the entire trip a fascinating experience.

A covered jet boat will take you onto the river where you will explore the history of Talkeetna. I recommend the Devil's Canyon trip a 5 hour adventure including white water.
