The Hoe is a glorious coastal area where you can fully appreciate the sea views. Sit on the grass and watch the world pass by, watch naval ships enter Plymouth Sound, go for a bite to eat and drink at The Terrace cafe bar. And brave the waters by going for a swim in the glorious Tinside Lido or for free in the sea! It'sa fantastic place to visit with plenty of historic events to learn about too, from World Wars, to Francis Drake, and The Beatles.

A stroll with an ice cream? Take in the best views in Plymouth. Then have some delicious fish and chips.

A breath-taking panorama, no trip to Plymouth is complete without a visit to Plymouth Hoe. With unbeatable views across Plymouth Sound, it’s the perfect place to spend a sunny day, enjoying a picnic on the grass or taking a dip in the art deco Tinside Lido.

Plymouth is a beautiful city and just over an hour from us. The Barbican is a fabulous eating out area set around the marina and there are also some great walks or ferry rides along the coastline.
