This part of town is close by. It has some great food trucks, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. There are some great vintage shops, like Blue Velvet. Breakaway Records, if you're into vinyl.

Known for it's "vintage" row. North Loop has a lot of great mid-century furniture & vintage clothing shops. Get pizza at the famous "Home - Slice" pizzeria down the way.

North Loop just across the 35 is a leader in keeping Austin weird. Famed for its selection of independent and unique shops, you can find an expansive collection of vintage clothing, funky furniture, books, and records. The North Loop is also home to several new restaurants and bars, since you're so close definitely recommend to swing by.
