Lots of greenery, and space. There is plenty of seating, shaded areas, areas for play for children, trails for running or walking, outdoor activities, swings, and the splash pad is definitely a nice touch for the hot Texas weather.

Walk down the street a couple of blocks and hit the Pease park trail. It will take you downtown to zilker or up town. Off leash area around 29th street.

Pease Park runs along Shoal Creek. It has a great hike and bike trail (partially off-leash), sand volleyball courts (seasonal), and picnic areas.
