Park across the road from the Mc Donald’s ( at lynx café) and walk in to the lake loop for a 40 minute dog walk

One Mile Lake – 15min driving, it’s the first lake you see as you drove into Pemberton on your right hand side. Heading south it will now be on your left. You can walk all the way around the lake it and there’s a dog beach on the far end.

This lake is located just outside of the village. There is a picnic - recreation area with a beach, some picnic benches, two small piers on the lake for the canoes or rowing boats and a lake loop trail, even for a wheelchair. You can paddleboard in summer and skate in winter. It's dog friendly but your dog needs to be leashed apart from the dog beach area.

With a beach, park, and paddle board rentals in the summer, One Mile Lake is a great hangout spot! There is a trail the whole way round the lake, and a dog park on the far side. In the winter the lake is used for ice skating if frozen!
