Where the road ends, Anderson Lake begins. Welcome to a 14-acre waterfront escape with access to 1,000 feet of shoreline - approximately 2 hours north of Whistler, but far from the usual. Surrounded by mountains, forest, water, and open sky, this is a place to settle in and let the day unfold. Some days are calm and glassy. Other times, a warm wind moves through, bringing a different kind of energy to the lake. Swim, paddle, sail, fish, explore, gather, linger. Here, the lake sets the pace.

Orig. from Germany, we love our little paradise on Ruth Lake and would like to share it with you. We live on the same property, there is enough room to respect each other's privacy. You are welcome to the gifts of nature and the use of kayak, canoe, fishing boat( licen.) bicycles. We are very well travelled and know exactly how nice it is to find a welcoming home away from home. We are located on Oyamas Isthmus between Wood Lake to the south and beautiful Kalamalka Lake to the north. The rail trail is minutes away and is great for walking or cycling and goes right around Wood Lake (Turtle Bay pub is a great stop on this route) as well as along the shore of Kalamalka Lake right into Vernon. There are great hikes, skiing (Big White and Silverstar), mountain biking, golf and vineyards all around and there are buses to Vernon or Kelowna a short walk away

The property has a private sandy beach on the Shushwap River, just steps away from your private patio and hot tub. Breakfast service is available for an additional $20/person per day.
