Yorkshires Hidden Gem

Although hidden away our site is within 20 minutes of Harrogate and Ilkley. There are numerous walking and cycling routes from the site. It is a quiet spot in an AONB with a dark skies rating. There are many fine pubs and restaurants in the immediate area. There is a hot shower and a composting toilet on site. There is a single parking spot where 2 bikes can be secured. Options include access to the sauna and hot tub + the VW camper when it is available (so we can consider additional guests).

Spinney Cottage, Pateley Bridge

Spinney Cottage is a beautifully restored home located just outside the town of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate. Built in 1883 and full of characterful features such as woodburning stove and exposed stone walls, the Cottage is very well equipped with BBQ, firepit, and outdoor seating. Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

Perfect nature loving couples seeking a peaceful, private escape, this adults-only, pet-free retreat boasts stunning open water views and dark skies. A charming cottage a mile from Brimham Rocks, attached to the main farmhouse at "Springhill Getaways"and powered by renewable energy. With a private garden, on-site parking, and views over moor and dale, it’s perfect for couples or small families. Inside, enjoy a cosy living space with a log burner (logs provided), well-equipped kitchen, shower/wet room, and upstairs a king bedroom plus a walk-through space with twin bed (single futon chair bed and a single bed). We also allow up to 2 pets.

An idyllic location with easy access to many local footpaths and trails. No pets.

A great option if you are in the area to attend a wedding at one of the many beautiful venues in the area such as the Tithe Barn, which is less than 10 minutes away.
