'Entim’ means ‘forest’ in Maa. While we tick the box as a log cabin in the woods, we are part of peri-urban, dynamic Nairobi. The verandah sits on the edge of Malewa Forest, a private, vestigal, botanical treasure-house of indigenous plants and trees. Furnished with love and fully-equipped with solar support systems, rain water harvesting and a vertical kitchen garden, the house has 3 ensuite bedrooms, 2 fireplaces, a grand piano and an extensive library of books.
