A private Satoyama retreat in the mountains of Nara, just 20 minutes from the city. This traditional one-group-per-day house is renovated with reclaimed wood and uses fresh mountain spring water. Enjoy hands-on cooking with organic rice and vegetables from our farm. Relax in a wood-fired bath, and in the morning experience a Japanese tea ceremony surrounded by nature. Dinner options include Japanese meal or pizza making. Our meal service is available for parties of two or more guests.

Just one stop from the city’s rush, yet quietly removed from its noise — Reikyo presents a serene tatami room designed for rest, reflection, and quiet beauty. Please experience or your friends and genuine good old Japanese life with your family. You can feel free to use, such as 12 people a large digging your stand is there an event-party sit at the same time. This is a newly renovated old Japanese house, a middle-class residence built in 1929 and renovated in 2017. It is a legal accommodation permitted by the city of Osaka. Located in the southern part of Osaka, a very quiet residential area. 10 minutes away from the nearest subway station, Kishinosato. It is easy to reach Namba, Umeda by subway, KIX and Koyasan by Nankai Railway. The 7-11 convenience store is one minute away. The Sento public bath is also very close to my house.

Hinoki house: Traditional machiya, walk to sights.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

Hanastay Kawachinagano is a cozy and welcoming guesthouse located in a quiet residential area. Our on-site manager will greet you at your scheduled arrival time and assist with the check-in procedure. Please kindly note: Some rooms currently do not have curtains installed. The manager keeps two cats on-site. Staff may enter and work around the surrounding outdoor areas during the daytime.
