Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Direct bus from the airport and the city center, 800 meters to the grocery, pizzeria, shopping center and restaurants. Coffee, tea, salt, pepper and oil are available. Access to washing machine by arrangement.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Kjøkkenet har det du trenger for å tilberede og nyte måltider hjemme. Oppreide senger og håndklær. To garderobeskap. Her kan du slappe og samtidig nyte utsikten av landskapet, når du ikke er ute å utforsker det spennende arktiske Tromsø.

The apartment is spacious and has an amazing view. You have a 180 degrees view over Tromsø and its surroundings. You can see mountains, the fjord, the Arctic cathedral, the cable car and the mountains surroundings it..The Northern lights can easily be seen from the balconies if it is out dancing for us. The apartment is within town center with its many attractions, restaurants, galleries, cafes, museums and shops. A short walk to everything.

Vervet area is a newly developed district in Tromsø, with restaurants, cafes right by. The city center is only a 5 minutes’ walk from the apartments, same for the Artic Cathedral across the bridge. The apartment building is modern and placed right by the harbor.

Hybelleilighet, som ble pusset opp i starten av 2021. Bad med varmekabler. Seng i sovealkove. Plass til 2 stk i liten dobbelseng; 120 cm bred. Sovesofa som er enkel, altså plass til 1 person. Egen inngang. Varmekabler i oppholdsrom. Parkering er mulig. Matbutikk og busstopp 2 min gange unna. 20 min gange til sentrum, og 15 min gange til marka. Fjellheisen er nesten nærmeste nabo. Boligen ligger sentral i Tromsdalen.

The house is located in a quiet and safe dead end street in Tromsø, 3 kilometers from the city center. Fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great nature nearby and close to ski and hiking tracks, Arctic cathedral, marina and cable car.

Best view on Fjellheisen, comfortable and hotel feel stay. Hight chance to see the northern light and new year’s fireworks orginized from the city center and Fløyen mountain infront of our house. (attached photos) What makes it even better is the central location of the house. Near by you can find the city center, the famous church and cable car, in addition to restaurants and shopping mall.
