Spoleto Country Park spans 10 hectares and consists of 6 private houses, all discreetly spaced from each other and interspersed with ancient farm buildings used for storage. 5 of the cottages, including Torretta, are completely private with their own gardens and/or terraces. 2 neighbouring cottages, Casa Aristo and Casetta, share a very large garden. Otherwise, they are also completely private with their own exclusively private outside areas. Spoleto (that predates Rome) is just 7 kms away! Rome an hour! If you are part of a larger party, we can provide a chef to cook for you in the communal Verandah, conveniently located in the gardens, in the centre of the village. There are dining areas inside and outside the Verandah. Or, you can learn how to make pizza and pasta at a local Spoleto restaurant. And we can advise re guided tours : olive oil tastings, wine tastings or simply sight seeing - local or further afield. There are staff on site to assist you 24/7. Otherwise, you need never see them. So, why is a holiday in Torretta so special? Simple! Staying in Spoleto Country Park, you can experience Every Kind of holiday experience you could wish for! Obviously, there’s the pool. But that’s just the start! If you are an exercise junkie, there’s a volley ball pitch, a huge trampoline and a football pitch in the surrounding fields. This restaurant, with its beautiful grounds, has been in the same family since time began!! There are another 3 eateries in Strettura, including a trattoria and a pizzaria. There’s also a butcher, a grocery store and a post office! Then, just 0.8 kilometres down the steep hill into our village is another wondrous restaurant, Il Capanno. It, too, nestles in sumptuous grounds, and offers 1st class cuisine. Both these superb restaurants host wedding parties and special events, the latter of which hosted the model, Kate Moss’s party when she and her entourage stayed at Spoleto Country Park some years ago, when it was a smaller version of itself! So, either stay private in Toretta, in your beautiful garden, a flute of Prosecco in hand, to the song of the nightingale hailing the setting sun, the squeaks of swifts and swallows, the soft rustle of Tuscan pines and the rhythmic buzz of the cicadas. Camera doppia con bagno indipendente. Molto luminosa, con due grandi finestre, una che si affaccia sul chiostro ed una sul giardino officinale dell'Abbazia. Per la colazione è disponibile l'apposita sala affrescata dell'agriturismo dove potrete assaggiare anche i prodotti della nostra azienda agraria: miele, confetture aromatiche, olio dal nostro frantoio. Arredata con elementi di recupero e mobili antichi dell'Abbazia.
