The 500sq. Tortuga Cottage is located in Fish Bay, St. John in the US Virgin Islands. The property is privately owned and adjacent to the National Park. This charming cottage places you within a 5 minute walk to Reef Bay beach and gives you access to many of St. John's greatest hiking trails. By car, we are 3 miles from town (Cruz Bay), where you will find all of your necessities. This is the ideal cottage for a couple or two friends. Backpacker ecofriendly environment. Awesome views of El Yunque. 2 Minutes to rainforest and only 10 minutes to the local beaches and town of Luquillo. We are 45 minutes to the ferries that will take you to Culebra and Vieques. Private property with chickens, 2 cats and a dog named Cayo. Our personal home is on the property. We are close by for any assistance. We have lots of fruits & vegetables (passion fruit, bananas, pineapple, mangos..). We are striving to be as low impact as possible.
