This totally off-grid 1345 acre property has its own solar power system, harvests all its own water and is located on the outskirts of the Atherton Tablelands in the farming district of Dimbulah on route to Mt Mulligan and Chillagoe. The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. The quiet area is a bonus for uplifting your energy with walks to the quiet parks and shops for a truely re-energising holiday.

The Lakeside Loft is the ultimate relaxing getaway. It is a luxury pole home, nestled in the tree tops. It boasts three levels all with breath taking panoramic views of the Lake. The back yard has direct access to the lake for water sports for most of the year. We have a canoe and kayak for guest use. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

Usnea, our Nature, Art and Accommodation Space, is situated on the Evelyn Tablelands, Tropical North Qld. Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

Kisler Cottage - Rural retreat with a view

We call our lovely cottage "Kisler Cottage". It is located on the edge of Malanda which has all amenities, shops, period hotel, RSL , cafes and restaurants. Malanda is a great base to explore the Atherton Tablelands. Kisler Cottage is fully self contained, well appointed with quality furniture, some made by master- craftsman Victor Kisler, hence the name. The views from the cottage front deck are spectacular. So are the sunsets.

Tinaroo Wilderness Retreat

Tinaroo Wilderness Retreat is situated on over 2 acres of beautiful bushland next to Lake Tinaroo. The cottage is totally private and backs into a reserve. Only a short stroll to the lake and is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. 3 minute drive to Black Gully boat ramp, 12 minutes to Atherton mountain bike park, and Mount Baldy walking trail. It has it all — fishing, hiking, mountain biking, water sports.
