Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Löytyy keittiö kalusteita kuten jääkaappi, pakastin, uuni, liesi, mikro, astianpesukone, veden ja kahvinkeitin. Myös pyykinpesukone löytyy. Auringon valo tulee mökille koko päivän ajan.

Experience the traditional Finnish lake cottage life. This log cottage was built in the 1800's with hand carved logs. It is located on a beautiful lake shore with fantastic views. Here you can enjoy nature and total peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. There is a rowing boat for guests to use.

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Myllymäen päälle omin käsin rakennetussa villa Myllymäessä on helppoa rentoutua ja päästä lähelle luontoa nauttien upeista maisemista. Koko päätyseinän kokoinen ikkuna kehystää upean järvimaiseman. Kalaisien vesien äärellä historiallinen lossitupa ihastuttaa Savonrannalla Paasveden ja Pyyveden yhdistävän Orivirran äärellä. Talo on täysin remontoitu ja ympäristö kunnostettu uuteen loistoonsa.
