Unwind in our cozy cottage on the world famous Wild Atlantic Way/Slea Head Drive. Bask in wonderful coastal views and glorious sunsets strolling along coast-hugging roads, breathing in fresh sea air, sit out enjoying starry skies before falling asleep to the sound of the sea. Arguably Irelands best scenery, enjoy views of Dingle Peninsula/Coumeenoole Bay, the Blasket Islands and Dunmore Head. The famous Coumeenoole beach is a 10 minute stroll, Dingle town is 10 miles away and Killarney 50 miles.

Private lawn that leads down to the sea shore where seals can be seen on a daily basis bathing on the rocks on low tide. The Boat House is located right on the beach (perfectly safe for kids) on the island of Valentia off the Southwest coast of Ireland. The big window in the sitting room overlooks the beach, Lighthouse, Beginish Island and beyond. It is the most wonderful place to be in good weather and the most fascinating in bad weather when you can watch big waves crashing onto the beach, the rugged shore and the rocks by the lighthouse - all while being cuddled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea!

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.
