Lillevik is a comfortable, cozy and completely remodelled vacation home in a fantastic location on Gimsøy in the Lofoten islands – in the arctic. Lillevik is the perfect base for exploring the Lofoten islands – it is quiet, but central: Gimsøy is «in the middle» of Lofoten, between local towns Svolvær and Leknes, with most sights and activities just a short drive away. Gimsøy is an island, connected to the main road E10 runs with two bridges. Gimsøya has superb conditions for watching the northern lights and the midnight sun: There is open sea towards north, and nothing to block the view – and no light pollution. Lillevik's large panorama windows give a great view of the northern lights and the midnight sun – and also sea eagles, seals, otter, porpoises (dolphins), foxes, owls and maybe a weasel. Even Lofoten locals travel to Gimsøy to get the best conditions and avoid the crowds in the high season. At Lillevik you can experience this right where you live. Gimsøy, and especially this part, is exceptionally quiet, even for Lofoten. Less than 200 people live at Gimsøy, and a large part of the island is a nature reserve. There are hardly any cars driving on the road past the house – no need to worry about traffic. The house’s plot is 92,000 square meters (23 acres), and the private beach is just 100 meters (109 yards) from the house. Everything you need is nearby: Local towns Henningsvær, Svolvær and Leknes are a 30-40 minute drive away. It's 7 kilometers (4 miles) to Gimsøy Landhandel with groceries, café and gas station, 1.5 km to the long, white sandy beach at Hov. Unstad (50 min), Uttakleiv (1h15), Nusfjord (1h15) and Reine (1h50) is within easy driving distance. It's a 30 minute hike up to the summit of the mountain Hoven (368 m) with an impressive 360° view. The house was built in the 1960’s and has gone through an extensive two-year remodelling in 2018-2020. In practice, the house has been completely rebuilt. The original atmosphere is preserved, updated to modern standards. The kitchen is fully equipped with top of the line appliances, the bathrooms are modern and comfortable, and all beds are of good quality. Please see the reviews to see why Lillevik is so popular. Stedet har perfekt beliggenhet hvis du ønsker å oppleve kjente turiststeder øst eller vest i Lofoten. Leilighet på garasjeloft med stor sørvendt balkong og fantastisk utsikt mot fjell og fiskevann, den har retromøbler. Fordi det ikke er gatelys i området er det spesielt fint å oppleve nordlyset fra balkongen på klare vinterkvelder. WiFi og parkering inkludert.

Stedet anbefales for to personer, eller voksne med barn om man skulle være fire personer. Stamsund er et perfekt utgangspunkt for å oppleve hele Lofoten! Med en time i bil til både Svolvær den ene veien og Å den andre. Rett utenfor leiligheten er det muligheter for fine fjell eller badeturer. Stamsund har også både matbutikker, restaurant og kafé i gangavstand.

Om du liker fantastiske naturopplevelser, flotte fjell, nærhet til skog og mark er dette stedet for deg. Leiligheten ligger i 1. etg i hus med egen hage og port rett ut i skogen/lysløype. 5 min gange til fjellsti og badeplass i ferskvann. Dere får tilgang til eget grillsted/spisested ute. Leiligheten er nylig pusset opp og har egen plass til bilparkering. I Stamsund finner du butikk, bakeri og restaurant. Nærmeste by Leknes ligger 15 min unna med bil/buss.

Beautiful cabin right by the water with seaview and surrounded by mountains. Situated in Nusfjord, a small fishermans village, with a nice resturant in walking distance. There are great hiking trails just outside, and you can catch fish from the dock. It is possible to pay and go out to sea with a big boat, or buy fishingcards for the waters abowe.
