Cosy Log Cabin in Aith, Shetland

Relax and recharge with the family in the peaceful and picturesque village of Aith. This is our family holiday home, close to our family in the quiet and friendly village of Aith, Shetland. It is a great location as the village has a shop, Leisure Centre, Harbour and Marina, play park and is a 5 minute walk to the fantastic ‘Michael’s Wood’. This award winning woodland and trail was planted by family in memory of our cousin and so is a really special place for us which we hope you will enjoy.

Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

This modern cosy one bedroom flat is set in the heart of Lerwick within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the town centre. A completely renovated flat with all modern facilities. Great for couples, business travellers and tourists. The property has a spacious living room with smart 65” TV and WIFI. The kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons. There is a double bed in the bedroom with SIMBA mattress. There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer available for guest to use.

East-Gate Selfcatering

East-Gate was built new in 2018 the property is located in central Shetland and beautifully finished. Outside the patio door takes you onto a decked area which you can sit out on for your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine or to simply take in the scenery . It has the latest air to air heating and air con. We are very lucky to have a hot spot for otter sighting on our door step just a short walk down the field. The sea views and coastal walks makes this an ideal tranquil location.

At evening you can enjoy the award winning Frankies fish & chips, enjoy complimentary mussels from our farm, or seek out Shetland music.

Sunsets, space and solitude in a converted stone built chapel. Renovated to a high standard in 2014, it provides all the home comforts you need in a beautiful location with views of Vidlin Loch. There is private parking at the house. The charming village of Vidlin has a service bus route nearby. In the centre of the village is an attractive marina within easy walking distance of the Chapel. The nearest pub in Brae is 10 miles away and it’s just 22 miles to the ferry port of Lerwick.

Traditional crofter's cottage in peaceful Unst

A traditional Shetland Crofter's cottage in Baliasta, Unst, Shetland. Close by to the Loch of Cliff, near to the local shops and leisure centre. We absolutely love our little spot and enjoy opening it up to our many well-travelled guests. The cottage is very cosy, has a wood burning stove, and a good-sized garden. Please be aware though, that it is a very old house and as such has some rustic quirks. While we are happy to accommodate children please be aware all beds are doubles.

Really get away from it all in this unique secluded bothy tucked away on the west coast of the Whiteness peninsula on the shore of the beautiful Stromness Voe. Take a 5-10min stroll over the hill and down to the bothy nestled among reeds on the shore to feel a thousand miles from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
