From every nook, you can experience a beautiful view over the hills and valleys of Eastern Iceland (the windows are a little old, but they will be modernized in the summer).

Eignin er staðett í 20 mínútna fjarlægð frá Egilsstöðum umkringd mikilfenglegri náttúru á bökkum Jökulsár á Dal. Á eigninni er einnig starfrækt hestaleiga þar sem boðið er upp á útreiðatúra um svæðið í kring. Í húsinu eru fjögur herbergi, þrjú tveggja manna og eitt einstaklings, baðherbergi með sturtu, stofa með sjónvarpi og eldhús með helstu eldhústækjum og borðbúnaði. Úti í garði er grill og leiktæki fyrir börn.

Set in the quiet countryside of Eastern Iceland, this cottage is 7 minutes’ drive from the village of Vopnafjördur. It provides all neccessary facilites which guests should need to have. The open-plan, compact Ásbrandsstadir Cottage includes a seating area in which the living room and the sleeping area are built together. It's possible to create more privacy with screen panels which we store at the cottage.

Summer 2026: As our house is old we are constantly doing maintenance. This summer the maintenance has affected the garden so we are sorry to inform that it is not in perfect shape. Our home is old and quite small but very cozy. It is located by the seaside in our small village with a view over the fjord; the sea and the mountains. Please note our village is a bit out of the way of the Ring Road.
