Additional warm shower out the back to clean off the salt and sand is a real asset.

Set amongst pohutukawa trees, this original 50's holiday house is located right on Whangamata beach. Enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean from the deck and huge front lawn. The famous Whenuakura (Donut Is.) is opposite as well as Hauturu Motu (Clark Is.), accessible on foot at low tide - a Kiwi rite of passage. Welcome to our beautiful part of the country! Our house is situated in close walking proximity to many amenities such as the Village where there are great restaurants and shops (450m) or visit the Flatwhite on Shaw road for coffee and cake or something more elaborate right on the beach front. Over the summer months (Labour weekend until Easter) there is a Sunday market selling local produce, arts and crafts from 8 am - 1 pm at the Wilson reserve just up the road.
