As you descend the stairway into the woods you'll begin to experience the peace of Otium, one of two small shipping containers set into a clearing in the forest. Old Veterinarian Office, Heart of Amish Country!

In 1946 my parents lived here, using the upstairs as dad's veterinarians office. I've remodeled it using their doors, sinks, and artwork, an Amish made bed & bedding, and included locally made soaps & coffee. My parents were simple, peaceful, and relaxed, and I hope you feel that during your stay. This unique building has one bedroom, one bathroom, a small living area with a pull-out couch and kitchen. It is located just minutes away from downtown Berlin, local farms, bakeries and so much more!

For many years they welcomed & served thousands of guests through their well-known "Miller's Home Cooking". The Bungalow is located in the heart of Amish Country in the tiny town of Bunker Hill, only 4 minutes from Berlin. Sample amazing cheese at Heini's Cheese or grab delicious donuts at Kauffman's Country Bakery. After that, visit the shops at Ohio's Market. All within walking distance. In the evening, relax on the porch and watch the Holmes Co. traffic clip clop by while playing games with the family. This is an 'Off-the-Grid' home (with great cell service) completely powered by solar panels.

We are a very small walk/ride to the Rails to Trails. This is a trail that runs from Fredericksburg to Killbuck (15 miles) perfect for bikes or walks.
