Enjoy staying in a piece of history within this old one room schoolhouse converted to a two bedroom home. Sit out on the swing or by the firepit as you enjoy peaceful sounds of the country and the creek adjacent to the property. Located right on the Bourbon Trail with only a 5 min drive to Maker’s Mark, 17 min to Limestone, and 20 min to Log Still Distillery. Venture in to the city of Springfield to learn about Abe Lincoln and his parents, married in the courthouse, still being used to this day!

Many outdoor sitting areas to observe Maker’s crop land and wildlife while enjoying your morning coffee and afternoon drinks.

Feel free to take a walk down to the river at the bottom of our property. There you will find a park like setting where you can relax and listen to nature if you like. Located close enough to town but in the country, in a peaceful setting. Large front deck to sit and relax or grill your dinner and eat on the covered porch. Located right in the middle of the Bourbon Trail! Truck drivers welcome. Trailer parking within 5 miles. Room for tractor parking onsite. We have outside cats & a dog.

Great for a Bourbon Trail weekend away with friends, the house is central to all the distilleries in Bardstown, Lawrenceburg, and Loretto. When you’re done for the day, return to Heavenly House to cook dinner in the spacious and open kitchen, play darts or Pop-A-shot, or enjoy time by the firepit.
