The house is located 23 miles from Ellsworth, 10 miles from Winter Harbor which is home to the ferry terminal that will take you to Bar Harbor for the day!

A two mile drive to Acadia's sister park, Schoodic Peninsula. The much quieter, less crowded of the two parks. Schoodic Point has been said to be quite possibly the prettiest spot in all of Acadia National Park. Only 10% of Acadia National Park visitors make the visit to the Schoodic Peninsula.

This home is built on a bluff along the Pleasant River with the Gulf of Maine just a few minutes away. The property is a working farm with Scottish Highlander Cows, chickens, goats and sheep. There is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with sink, Traeger pellet smoker, pizza oven, flat grill and gas grill. The house was completely renovated 2023-2024. All new bathrooms, new paint and much new hardwood flooring.
