The cottage is located with shared parking next door to a restaurant that we also own; the best wood fired pizza around! Located on a private 12 acre wooded lot with walking trails surrounded by vacant land you can enjoy the peace and quiet of Door County! Potawatomi State Park is only about a 5 minute walk away which offers boat launch, cross country skiing, swimming, kayaks, hiking, biking, snowmobiling and more! The living room has abundant natural light with a picturesque window and large sliding glass doors over looking our porch and Logan Creek. All of these renovations were to increase the view of the natural beauty of the Logan Creek State Natural Area. Our cottage is an older home that has been extensively renovated with modern appliances. Enjoy watching the boat traffic from the second story deck. Two kayaks are provided or bring your own boat.

The Pinecone Cottage is one of the units at Winding River Cottages on the Menominee. There is one other cottage and one house also on the property. This cottage is directly on the Menominee River, very close to Marinette, WI/ Menominee, MI. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, a full kitchen with full-size stainless steel appliances (stove/oven, refrigerator, over-the-stove microwave), and a living area with a 50" TV, chair, and futon, which can convert into a full-size bed.
