A Shore Bet (Houseboat)

Welcome aboard our vintage houseboat at the Berry Creek Marina. Aptly named "A SHORE BET" this cozy 36'x12' Thunderbird houseboat is moored in our clear stocked pond alongside our 48' dock and will take you on an adventure of waterborne living without the hassle. Your boat harbors a queen bed, full bed, full galley, head (bathroom for landlubbers), sleeping-cuddy, saloon, futon and a raised bridge with literally all the bells and whistles. There's a guest pavilion with too many extra's to list

1830'S Log Cabin

Welcome to the 1830's THIS IS AN 1830'S CABIN BROUGHT FROM OHIO AND REASSEMBLED HERE. IT IS 18X17 FT CABIN WITH A LOFT. IT HAS A DOUBLE BED IN THE LOFT WITH A SINGLE BED DOWNSTAIRS. It has a mini fridge microwave and a coffee pot. There is a temporary potty in lieu of an out house being built. The property boasts the largest magnolia tree in the parish and possibly in the state. There is a pitcher and bowl to wash up in with towels [just like the 1800's] There is electricity and wifi.

Serene Camp Cabin

The Camp Cabin is our smallest retreat situated in a small knoll in a bend of the creek. Reminiscent of a fishing camp, with nicer furnishings of course, you will feel right at home with its full kitchen, bath and single bedroom. There's an 8 x 14 covered front porch and an open 12 x 14 back porch leading down to the creek. It is 400 sq. ft. of living area with a futon in living rm. Designed for up to 4 people this quaint cabin should aspire to couples and our budget minded guests.

The Nautical Yurt at River Bark

Ready to glamp? Our yurts look out on the pond where wildlife gathers early in the morning and late in the evening. There is a small dock for sitting, and the roofs of each yurt open to let in as much of the outside as you’d like. But if it’s too hot, don’t worry. Each yurt is equipped with electricity and an A/C unit. A composting toilet is steps away, and there is an outdoor shower in the barn down the path. It’s all the conveniences of life combined with the camping experience.

The Lily Pad

The Lily Pad is located on a 34 acre homestead/farm. This sweet tiny home faces a quaint pond (seasonally the pond is shallow and less visible) with beautiful trees and wildlife surrounding it. The well lit space is perfect for almost any occasion. A quick getaway, a peaceful space to practice your art form, or a lovely place to unwind and recharge. This thoughtful space has two lofted bedrooms (not totally private from the rest of the tiny house). A cook friendly kitchen!

Rustic and Spacious Log Cabin on Pearl River

The Running Creek Ranch's, Old River Lodge, situated on "Louisiana Island" along the Pearl River at the state line (1 hour and 15 minutes North of New Orleans, LA and 45 minutes South of Hattiesburg, MS) provides a country, riverfront, cypress log home for your getaway of two days or more. There is a sandy beach along the river, which is accessible depending on the tide. While there is not an accessible pier, the bank and beach area will provide hours of enjoyment.

Country Pond Getaway

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful north shore getaway just 1 hour and 10 minutes outside of New Orleans and 1.5 hours from Baton Rouge. This house, situated on 8 acres, is located on a private shared pond with a huge screened in porch to enjoy the outdoors rain or shine.
