Rocky Valley towards the sea and Bossiney Cove (ideal beach for swimming) are just 30 minutes walk away and you can't leave without having a drink at The Port William, Trebarwith Strand with it's sea views Also nearby is Port Isaac, Rock, Bude and Bodmin moor.

Almond Tree Cottage, once a farm building built in the 19th century, lies in the grounds of Trethin Manor, one of the oldest houses in Cornwall. Guests enjoy the well equipped property, the log burner, peaceful surroundings, the games field, and onsite games room. The cottage is ideally located for exploring Bodmin Moor, the Atlantic coast, Cornish villages and famous visitor attractions like Port Isaac, the Eden Project and Tintagel. The Chalet is a self-contained wood-built cabin in the grounds of Haven View, perched on the side of the valley and overlooking the dramatic cliffs and beach of Crackington Haven. If you feel like joining in and enjoying the activities, cafes or pub, it's only a 2 minute walk away, or you can sit out on the veranda listening to the sounds of the sea and just watch! Also a great base for some coast path walking, with some challenging but spectacular cliff walks straight from the door.
