Forest Lodge Double Room in the Mountains

Your private double room provides a perfect base for adventure activities in the mountains. The room also has a single bunk above the double, perfect for an extra companion. Enjoy the communal alpine lodge with a shared kitchen and bathrooms. Forest Lodge is an off-grid lodge located deep in the Craigieburn Range, be prepared for remote living with limited electricity as we rely mostly on solar power. Located 6km up the gravel Mt Cheeseman Skifield Rd, you will find a little slice of paradise.

Arthur's Pass Ecolodge - unique off grid living

Only 10mins south of Arthur's Pass Village, on SH73, the Ecolodge overlooks the expansive Waimakariri River and mountains of the National Park. Experience "off grid" living at its best on a small environmental footprint. To stay costs $175 per night for bed and homemade breakfast (for 2 people). You have the option to book up to 4 people in your group, as I have two Queen rooms available. I'm more than happy to share a 2-course meal + wine/beer for $35 pp and spend time sharing stories.
