Situated on a livestock farm and livery yard, Curlew Cottage, our converted stone mistal sleeps 4. The barn was originally used to house milking cows so the beams have been retained in all the rooms to maintain the character of the barn. With the addition of the log burner the cottage is cosy on chilly evenings. We have a unique barn attached to our farmhouse in an area called Sowood between Halifax and Huddersfield with panoramic far reaching views. We are situated up a bridlepath with plenty of privacy and tranquility but still within easy reach of motorway networks with the M62 being a 5 minute drive away. With a huge amount of local attractions close by, our barn is perfectly placed for long country walks, bike rides, day trips out and is equipped with all you need for a great getaway.

Cosy converted piggery, with fabulous views, fenced garden and patio overlooking the Calder Valley. Close to Hebden Bridge and Heptonstall, there are beautiful walks and cycle rides from the doorstep, which is 800m from the Pennine Bridleway. There is a wood burning stove (we provide a starter pack of logs) and well-behaved dogs are welcome. A king-sized bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge make this the perfect venue for couples, friends or parents and child!
