Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The sound of happy froggies, birds, chickens and horses will keep you grounded and takes you right back into what Nature had intended for us. This is a cozy tiny home container is indeed a tiny home, with a tiny kitchenette, two plate gas top and tiny fridge. It's nestled on a large plot, next to a lemon tree and rose garden. Our living eco pool hosts frogs and tadpoles which invites nature lovers for a cool down on hot days.

Peaceful hideaway with wood fired hot tub

Almond cottage is positioned above a dam in the heart of the Banhoek conservancy. It is a light, modern cabin with direct access to endless hiking and the finest mountain biking trails in the western cape. Although it is styled as a one bedroom, two person cabin, there is a queen sized open pod attached to the living room which can sleep 2 children or an extra guest and can be made up for small extra fee. Almond cottage is set back from the lake and enjoys views of farmland and mountains.

The Tin Shack

"The Tin Shack" is a beautiful container-built cabin situated on a hill behind the West Coast town of St Helena Bay. The cabin overlooks the entire bay with the majestic Cederberg mountains in the distance. It has two ensuite bedrooms, each with a shower, basin, and compost toilet. The spacious open plan kitchen/living area has a cast-iron woodburner fireplace which makes the cabin warm and cozy even in winter. The spacious deck has a Weber BBQ, outdoor seating, and a woodfired hot tub.

The houses (a historic Karoo farmhouse and a modern container house) are a stone throw from each other. Guests can enjoy walks in vineyards and orchard. The communal natural pool is open from Oct. to May. We supply instant coffee, tea, rusk, wood, fire lighters and our own olive oil. For our little guests there is a playground with a jungle gym. Both houses have large fenced gardens.
