Perfect for families in the summer or a romantic getaway for a couple in the winter. The view from your bed upstairs is just a gorgeous sea ! In the summer, throw all the kids together in the one room, and parents are upstairs in their own rooms. Sorry, not suitable for under 5 because of the stairs.

If you need to relax and have a restorative break away then Ti Tree is the place to come. This is an unknown part of the country that has ancient geology and astounding beauty. A guided trip to the river mouth weather permitting and depending on tides is where you will experience 7000 year old Totara Tree stumps . There are amazing rock formations at the mouth of the Kaiwhata river also. Walking options are available and in evening you can relax under the night sky in the spa pool.

Large Family house near Castlepoint

This place is a spacious house on a large section 2 Kms inland at Castlepoint on the Wairarapa East Coast. Dogs are fine. To keep the costs down all you need to bring is linen/towels, give the place a clean afterwards and take your rubbish with you ready for the next guest. If you are after fully serviced accommodation then this probably isn't the place for you. If you read the reviews most people have been happy with this arrangement and we have many repeat guests.

A lovely two bedroom bach at Castlepoint. Open plan kitchen, dining, lounge & a great deck to enjoy the view! Comfortably sleeps 4 in 2 Queen rooms along with a nice leather sofa-bed in the lounge. The property is set just over half way up Guthrie Crescent so you know the view is a winner. A beautiful spot perfect to Relax and Unwind! Heatpump/air con Linen is not included but access to a Full Linen Service is available No pets allowed
