Lots of great walks, and close to bike trail..12km from the beach If you like animals and a bit of outdoor space you will like it here. (there can be insects and spiders)

There is 1 cabin with bedroom ,1 cabin with kitchenette and couch and 1 cabin with toilet and shower...Private, next to bush and stream with view of the mountain..There is lots of outdoor space to relax in..with outdoor fireplace...the sound of running water..bush... close to rail trail..and bush walks, in the heart of gold mining history. lf you like peace and nature you will be happy here. Grab a bean bag and a book,sit in the bush or on the bush edge and allow nature to nurse you and relax.

Littlefoot Tiny House

Tiny house complete with small kitchenette and bathroom, outside shower and bath. The cabin has either superking bed or 2 singles. Peaceful rural setting 4 km from the iconic Whangamata beach. Sealed road for cyclists and 2km from beautiful bush walks and waterfall. We are a small farm with cattle, sheep and chickens with an organic garden and orchard. This accomodation is not suitable for children. Self catered but continental breakfast can be supplied on request at $12.50 per person (cash).

Whiritoa is 15mins from Waihi and 10mins from Whangamata. Off street parking in front of the unit including space for a boat. A stunning place for you and your family to relax and enjoy as we do.

Cabin in the Woods

Sweet little cabin in the woods that we promise is definitely not the start of a B-grade horror flick (unless you're not great with the odd bug and some low-fi living) A bit of a glamping experience - we use solar lights and a camp stove, but there is some pretty great luxury features. Theres now a wee outdoor patio area, extra comfy couches and the valleys finest loft-based chillzone that takes advantage of the awesome views of the surrounding hills.

Beautiful, modern house with expansive ocean views. Watch the sun rise, the moon rise and the magical rose coloured sunsets that reflect off of the south cliff face. No sound or sight of traffic here and low light pollution in the village provides front seat tickets to galaxy granduer. Whangamata is only 12kms drive if you would like to eat out. Accommodation is downstairs with your personal entrance. Double bedroom with queen bed, lounge/kitchenette, laundry/bathroom. Comfortable and clean.
