But if you’re seeking quiet, character, and a taste of how things used to be, with a modern twist, welcome to our 1800s-era cabin. Renovated in 2022, the cabin is comfy but you can expect creaky floors, original woodwork, and a few quirks that come with age. The cabin is authentic, and thoughtfully kept. You will have TV, wifi, central heat, air conditioning but expect to hear the water pump run and there is no dishwasher.

Our 1860's log cabin is your perfect location. Close enough to tourist attractions and restaurants, yet away from traffic and distractions. Just 8 miles in the country from historic Georgetown, Kentucky, Kentucky Horse Park and Ark Encounter nearby. First floor bedroom has a queen bed with attached bath with tub and shower. Our cabin has two bedrooms; one with a queen bed, and the upstairs one with a queen and two twins. It has a full kitchen, full bathroom, fire pit and outdoor grills. Perfect for two couples, friends, or small families. The Ark Encounter and Kentucky Horse Park are 20min away. The Creation Museum is 45min away. A great place to relax between visits to these attractions!

Three Pines Historic Log Cabin

Three Pines is a rustic log cabin located on 17 acres with a forest view. Originally constructed in the 1790s by a Revolutionary War veteran, it was relocated to the present location in 2011, where it was reimagined with added modern conveniences. The cabin is great for history buffs and those looking for some peace and quiet in a unique setting. The cabin can be rented with our other listing, The Lodge at Three Pines, which provides an additional bedroom, bathroom, and hang out space.

Rising Star and Belterra Casinos are closeby, and a park/boat ramp on the Ohio is nearby. Rising Sun and Vevay are short drives, and the Arc and Creation Museum are both within 1 hour.
