The Australian Bracken Fern (Pteridium esculentum), an edible bush food endemic to Australia and New Zealand, lends Bracken Cottage its name. Bracken Cottage is a two-bedroom mud-brick cottage on Rock Lily's 100-acre bush block. Views are to the north and NW over the eucalypt forest that covers most of the property. It is suitable for a family or group wanting a base for rural adventure or a spot to gather and escape the city on a sustainably-managed property and has a dog-friendly fenced yard.

There is unlimited NBN, so you can stay connected, in the peace of nature Next door is the shared Sunny kitchen, with a BBQ, a handmade dining table and wonderful views to the sacred Mumbulla Mountain. The water you can hear flowing into the lily pond is home to frogs who will serenade your quiet walks out into the starry night..

Mt Cooper Cottage is situated on a working sheep property. It was built to be the cook house for shearers in the 19th century, with historic significance. The integrity of the rustic charm remains with modern amenities for your convenience. The cottage is 1.5 hours drive from Jindabyne and 1.5 hours drive to the coast. The main heating is a wood fuel heater, you will need to be able to light a fire. Altitude approx 1000mtrs the climate is cold in winter, often cold during other seasons.
