We are about a 40 minute drive to Canton (home of the First Monday Trade Days) and about 6 miles from the Amtrak station in Mineola. Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. Deep sigh.

CABIN (Lake Fork Farm) Boat Ramp/Private Dock/Pool

Our newly built 1300 sf large private cabin nestled under a large oak tree, positioned right on the bank of our private 2.5 acre lake with its own dock. Sleeps up to six guests, plenty of parking, and has three beds, a 90-year-old restored pool table upstairs in the large loft, 3 porches (both back porches overlook the lake) and custom cabinets throughout made of local hickory. Enjoy all the displayed paintings, photography, sculptures and cut stones all created by the hosts.

Our place is close to Local Restaurants (Mexican, BBQ, DQ, Sonic, Subway, Pizza, etc. 5 miles from Lake Fork (Fishing and Boating) 9 Miles to Walmart. City Park and Water play ground close. You’ll love our place because it is in town, on large lot with large covered parking (car, truck, boat, etc.). Quite neighborhood, excellent for walking and biking.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Come and enjoy a slice of heaven. Mother Nature has provided a beautiful scenery full of nature sounds and calls of the wild. You can sit on the screen porch overlooking the lake and feel peace. You can sit by a fire outdoors and feel free and private and safe and hear the crickets and bullfrog. There's nothing but love, peace and joy here. There's room for social distancing and I covid clean and I am vaccinated.
